Latest Update: Sending Multiple Photos is Available on Android
For Android users, you can send up to 20 photos and videos simultaneously. In addition, there is an option to delete the selected item before you actually click the send button. If you have many photos and videos to share, just enjoy the new version. This update is not available on Samsung smartphones or tablets yet. The web version will support smart reply suggestions in several new languages, including Spanish, French, and Portuguese.

What is the difference between chat and Hangouts?
Google Chat is the newer version of the Hangouts app that offers a bunch of additional features for group chats and collaboration. Now Google Chat has replaced the classic Hangouts app for Workspace users, and the Hangouts app has been removed from both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
