This application was developed for and is currently being assessed at the UCSD School of Medicine through an IRB approved study for effectiveness at being able to coach untrained individuals through performing life-sustaining CPR. As the study is not complete and the application is currently for educational and demonstrational purposes only, not to be used in an emergency situation.
The application also features instructions on when/how to perform the Heimlich maneuver and to administer Narcan to reverse an opioid overdose.
