March 25, 2022: The Grammy Channel
To celebrate the upcoming 64th Annual Grammy Awards, SiriusXM is rolling out a new Grammy channel that is available from March 23 to April 6. The new channel features music and albums from across the Grammy award categories, including music from Justin Bieber, Jon Batiste, Doja Cat, H.E.R., Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo and more. On April 3, users will also get access to the Grammy broadcast of “Music’s Biggest Night” on the app.
January 28, 2022: Neil Young Radio’s Exclusive Return
Neil Young Radio, a satellite and streaming music channel featuring music and exclusive stories from Neil Young, was launched in December 2021 as a limited-run channel and now returns to its limited engagement home on SiriusXM’s Deep Tracks. This channel will include rarities and exclusives, every new song from his latest album Barn, Neil Young’s insights behind writing and recording the music, etc. Listeners can hear Neil Young Radio on channel 7 for 7 days starting today, and for a month streaming online on the SXM App.
January 14, 2022: SiriusXM launching David Bowie Channel
SiriusXM launched a new, limited-run David Bowie Channel on January 8 to honor the great artist’s life and music. This channel will feature live tracks from concert performances, along with rare tracks and remixes of Bowie’s greatest songs. Except for this, some popular artists will also do their renditions of Bowie’s songs, as well as the Top 75 David Bowie tracks.
Listeners can catch this special channel for two weeks from January 4 to January 18 on SiriusXM’s channel 104, and streaming online on the SXM App throughout the month of January.
December 17, 2021: New Apple Music benefit for subscribers
SiriusXM announced that customers who subscribe to its Platinum VIP plan can get a free 12-month subscription to Apple Music, a promotion that applies to both new and existing subscribers. Priced at $34.99 per month, the SiriusXM platinum tier offers access to hundreds of ad-free channels in up to two SiriusXM App logins. Now subscribers to Sirius XM platinum can also access spatial audio and millions of songs in Apple Music without extra pay.
