Latest Update: Google Removed the Google Duo Icon Again
Google sent out an update last weekend and it removed the icon of Google Duo from the app drawer of Android users. However, Google has already announced in June that it would merge Google Duo with Google Meet to bring the best of both apps to users. This new Google Meet/Duo update will start rolling out officially this Friday. Besides, the duo.google.com website now uses the Google Meet branding throughout the website, hinting that Duo is now gone for good.

Duo has a feature named Low-light mode that will make you more visible to the other end of the video when you are in poor-light surroundings. You can disable this feature under the 'Settings' menu.
